Question

The seller wants me to cancel the auction. Will I get bad feedback from eBay if I cancel it?

I won an item on eBay today. But the seller sent me a request to cancel the auction because the ending price was lower than they expected. I'm going to cancel it,but will eBay give me bad feedback even it's not my fault??

Ebay does not give you feedback. The seller does. You should file a dispute because you won the auction but the seller is not going through because of the low price. Ebay will penalize him for that. It is his fault that he sold the item for a low price because he didn't start at a higher price.

The Seller is contracted to sell at the winning bid price ... if they refuse to accept payment & deliver, in theory you could source from elsewhere and sue them for the difference .. If they were too mean to pay for a 'reserve price' ... or too mean to pay for a proper start price, that's their problem .. However if they made a genuine mistake in entering the start price (you can find out by checking their other auctions) you could take pity and offer to pay the extra (to bring it up to the 'normal' start price) ..
