Your home owner's policy only covers the damage to the car's if you were negligent. It the tree was dead/dying or sick and the storm caused the tree limb to fall, your homeowners coverage (liability) may pay for the damage to the cars. If the tree and limb were healthy and a storm caused the tree limb to fall, then you are not negligent. As such, your homeowners does not pay for the damage to the cars. When your cousin and boyfriend decided not to have full coverage - they made the decision that if any damage happened to their cars, they would be personally responsible. As such, damage has happened and they are not personally responsible to pay for their own damage. That's the choice they made.

That would be covered under their auto policy "comprehensive" coverage (damage other than collision). If they don't carry comprehensive coverage, they're out of luck.

You pay for the damage. The owner of the car, is responsible for any damage like this. If they didn't buy "comprehensive" aka falling objects coverage, there isn't any. The homeowners insurance won't pay.

Unless you purchased "comprehensive coverage" (which is what I'm assuming you mean by "full coverage"), the damage would not be covered. At this point it seems that your boyfriend and cousin would be responsible for paying the damage to their vehicles. In the future if you want this damage covered, ask your agent about collision and comprehensive coverage. This provides coverage to your vehicle in the event of an accident (collision) or weather damage (comprehensive).
