If an online checkout doesnt have the option of paying with visa electron?
Hi, Im booking something with stenaline, when i get to the checkout though it doesnt give me the option of paying with visa election, i have hese options Visa (credit) Visa Debit Mastercard Maestro American Express If i select visa debit and enter my visa electron number will it go through alright or will there be problems? I have a visa debit with HSBC, but i dont use that account, i can transfer the money from my account that i have the visa electron on but it will take 3 working days, and i have to get it booked by saturday as its happening on Monday. So is it alright to do that? Thanks!

Im afraid some places dont take visa electron online or in store. For example marks and spencers dont. This is because it is really made for youngsters rather than older people and they see it as 'bad' you not having a maestro for credit reference reasons. i suggest you pay with a more upgraded account. hope this helps
