Question

who can i go to for a legit rehab/home loan?

please help...we have lost one great opportunity, and have found another, and we need to know what companies legitamatly offer a rehab loan/ and or, an "other than" fha loan, to purchase a foreclosure! we live in nys... evelyn...are you for real? because if not, that is mean...why would this man i dont know give me this kind of money??? i appreciate all the answers i am getting but they all seem extremely fishy..more so than the usual banks ive dealt with...why am i getting answers from "god fearing people" instead of legitamate companies such as bofa, or key bank, or hsbc...etc...im verrrry wary...these seem more sketchy than the norm...i am a christian and have found that christians are bigger hypocrytes than others so.... thanks calindra- im sort of in the same boat- and the agents i have talked to seem to be more ignorant than myself- the last house we were in the process of purchasing was allowed to go through to the end, and she called us and told us the bank wouldnt accept our money because it was fha...she just wanted to see if she could push it through and get away with it...

I see the responses, the are "FISHY" to me. Generally their are lenders that will let you put it in escrow when you get a loan for a house for the fixer upper. I do however know that HUD and Foreclosed homes, atleast in NYS have a lot of red tape you have to go through to acquire the home, but don't let it discourage you. Because in the end the price you pay might be a steal!!! You can also enlist in some information from a local reputable real estate agent. They generally will have more knowledge about this type of thing. I'm not a professional but I hope someone that is, can give you all the information you need. I still haven't recieved one decent one for my questions.
