Question
Does PayPal display transactions that have not been credited to your account?
Okay so basically, I sold something to someone on Craigslist and are paying me through PayPal. I got an e-mail saying that the payment had been approved but will not be credited into my account until the shipment is verified. However, when i log on to my PayPal account, the transaction does not appear. Is this normal or is there something wrong? Also, when I first got my PayPal account, I chose the option that I would just buy things, not sell. So do I have to change my account to be able to receive the payment? One last thing, when I got the e-mail from PayPal, it did not address me by my name (it called me by some other name) but contained the e-mail address I use for PayPal. Is there something wrong here? Print out a shipping label through PayPal? But none of that info appears in my PayPal account, only in the e-mail that they sent me. My PayPal account doesn't seem to have any record of any payments on hold either... Never mind...I found out the person sent the payment to the wrong email address...

You have to print a shipping label through paypal. Once your delivery confirmation is confirmed to whoever you sold the item to, the money should be credited to your paypal account. You can not transfer this money unless you get your bank account verfied on paypal. It will just be used as credit on something you buy using paypal.
