This depends on a variety of factors, but you have a few different options. First, you can try your local health department. You will be charged for your visit on a sliding scale, which is based on your income. You could call them and give your income and they might be able to give you an estimate of the cost. If you have an urgent care facility nearby (PromptCare is one "chain" but there are many others), you can usually just walk in and although you may have to wait, it is an easy way to get seen in a hurry. We recently used one of these on a Saturday and it was a very pleasant experience. Our insurance was accepted, so we paid a $25 co-pay, but there was a sign up saying that if you did not use insurance, you'd be charged $75 for the visit. Finally, another choice could be Planned Parenthood, if you need something like contraceptive devices, STD testing, annual exam/pap smear, etc. I believe these services are also provided on an income-based sliding scale.

I'd say between 60 and 75 dollars unless you are in CA or NY.

I think it depends on the doctor you go to. They all have different prices. Also, it depends on what you are getting done

Once upon a time, I was experiencing night sweats. My mother insisted that I see a physician, who charged $220 to tell me he had no idea what the cause could be. (Mom paid the bill). This was sixteen years ago.
