In India there are only 2 stand alone health insurance companies 1. Star Health 2. Appolo DKv both of them has started their operation about 3- 4 Yrs back. Among other remaining 20 general insurance companies 19 companies also offer health insurance products. Today claim settlement in health insurance preferred by clients is through TPA and also managed by TPAs mostly .
