studying abroad for business?
will going to college out of the country (australia) hurt my chances of getting a marketing job in the United States.

From my experience you should have at least a basic business degree in the US, and an additional qualification / certificate or degree in Australia. For one of my friends it worked the other way around - first degree in down under, second in the US. US Business degrees are among the few college degrees to be valued extremely high - abroad as well as home. Please consider to have both, or as an alternative - split your business education among both countries. Hope this helps.
