Question

Recieving payment on ebay?

Since i delete my credit card details after any transaction on ebay i was wondering how i get paid when someone buys an item of mine? (i've never sold anything before) i was told that you just log in to paypal, put in a credit card and select something like 'add payment' or something, if so can anyone tell me where to find this button on my account?

The only thing your buyer needs if you sell something on Ebay is your email address associated with your paypal account. They just send the money to the email address. Your credit card information on ebay has nothing to do with receiving or sending payments, that information is obtained and stored through your paypal account.

You do not need a credit card to get paid on eBay. All you need is a PayPal account so they can pay you. There are some conditions you should know. One is that with a free PayPal account you may only withdraw $500.00 per month. One way to get your money out of PayPal is to link a checking account with PayPal. You simply transfer the money from PayPal to your checking account. There may be other ways. Go to PayPal and read about it. You should also be aware that PayPal charges you a fee just like eBay to accept this payment. You can ask for checks or money orders from buyers and not accept PayPal but I have found that PayPal is deeply embedded with eBay users now. Another way to get your money form PayPal is to simply leave it in the PayPal account and use it to make purchases on eBay or at the increasing number of online retailers that accept it. The add credit card on Paypal allows you to buy through PayPal with a credit card. USe add bank account to get paid or draw money from the bank account when using Paypal to pay.
