Hi Hannah Not sure what line of business you are in, but there are lots and lots of places to advertise for free online. E.g. Forums - put a link to your website on all your profile signatures Email - ditto your outgoing emails Craigslist/Gumtree/other free listing websites - these are great because their content is refreshed so often. Another thing you might find useful is www.webceo.com - it will check your website for any broken links and suggest keywords that you might want to optimise the site for. They have a programme for emailing requests for incoming links too but personally I think these are really spammy and delete them, so I wouldn't use this. The best place to advertise for free is through traffic exchanges. Most traffic exchanges are free to join and allow you to earn credits for each members site you visit. The more credits you earn the traffic to your site. Remember there are hundreds of thousands of other people doing the same thing as you so you will have better success with a traffic exchange if you use a splash page and capture a name and email. Then you can contact your prospects and send them to your online business.

You can go to UsFreeads.com they offer free listings. I have a premium membership with them, meaning my post will be placed before a free account. Free accounts are pushed down to the bottom. The the idea here is to get listed in the natural listings on Google with great keyword research so you ad will get posted on the first page in Google. I offer a service for this kind of advertising. If your interested let me know. Also when you post your ad make sure to make the ad interesting with good headline, copy and a good picture with all the vital information. The ads are like landing pages for your company.
