Can I run my debit card as a credit card?
I just received my debit card from the Golden1 Credit Union. I just programmed my PIN number, and they said it would take about 24 hours for it to work. But I am going out of town tomorrow morning. I was wondering if I could just run the card as credit instead. Will it work? It does have a visa/mastercard symbol on it.

With a Visa logo, it can be run as a credit card. But the card might very well work by tomorrow morning anyway. The banks like to give themselves more time, in case it doesn't work.

You can do that if it has a Visa or Mastercard logo on it, yes.

Unless there is some reason why it shouldn't (which I honestly can't think), it should work.
