When do you know its time to get out of a business?

If Mr. Salwen can read this, great...if not any ideas from anyone. It seems like everything is going wrong from my website, credit card provider to clients. I give seminars, and it was very lucrative for a while but now it has become harder to charge the same price as the economy has gone down worldwide. I would have to charge less,,and get more people to compensate. I hate the thought of just giving up a business I had for a long time and not selling it or leaving like a failure. Any ideas? My seminars are worldwide, but the economy has hit everyone. How can I charge less this year, in the same market where people took it last year and make money?
