picture of my credit card? only first 6 digits of card uncovered? is it safe to send?
im trying to buy in game money for a game called silkroad online i am playing vietnamese silkroad tho, so the people im dealing with to buy this are vietnamese. is it save to send them a picture of my credit card with only the first 6 digits uncovered? everything on the card is covered except the first 6 digits of the card. is this safe to give to somebody?

The first 6 digits of the card just defines the bank that issued the card and the type of card (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, etc.) so giving out that that information should not be a problem. The remaining numbers on the card is the account number with that bank.

Why would you send a picture of your credit card? That makes no sense. If you have to pay a fee to play this game, you have to put your credit card number into their secured page. Is this how things are done in Vietnam? Very strange, indeed!
