garnishing wages
Question
What can i do if my wages is garnish by a collection agency?
I have talk to the collection agency to try to settle my payment but now they said i am too late and they want me to pay $300 a month but I am only able to pay $150 but they said you are too late to negotiate. Is my option only to declare bankruptcy ?

If they are able to garnish, then they have been to court and have a judgment against you. Without a judgment, they can not garnish wages. So, if they are garnishing wages, they have the upper-hand and you don't really have any negotiating room left. Pay the debt.

This is not a Fly by night operation. He has a syndicated Radio show and also has a Tv Show on Fox Business channel. He has the ability to make the common person understand how to work with money. I swear if you listen to everything he says you will wealthy one day. I personally only have the discipline to do about 60% of what he says. lol, Whenever I am losing my grip and about to do something stupid with money. I watch the Dave Ramsey Show!

No one can garnish your wages without first taking you to court and suing you. If they win judgment, then if you live in a state that allows wage garnishment they can garnish your wages up to 25%.
