Anyone that knows anything about student loans, lenders, and all of these beautiful things, please help!?

thanks for clicking. my mother and step father don't want to contribute or co-sign anything that has to do with college. they have their reasons and i really can't make them, but i'm really scared about my first year in college. Does anyone know any bank or lender that i could loan 4,000 dollars without a co-signer? I've heard of a few out there that don't need co-signers.. YES, i know that i'm looking at high interest rates.. and YES, i understand that there are stafford loans out there.. i took out the max of stafford and still need 4,000. i plan to transfer to a 4-year school after my first year at a local community college, but this money literally depends on it. please help! thank you Mike
