How many walmart prepaid visa gift card are you allowed to have?

I have purchased at least (7) all for the minimum $20.00 since christmas with the standard $3.00 hit fee, so I've paid $23.00 each time for the visa card. I just bought my 8th card but had to get it refunded because when I tried to activate the card they said that they couldn't allow this to happen because I am now offer the limit for activating new cards. I only bought these cards because they were a very cheap way in getting dvds off of ebay. How long though do I have to wait to be able to activate a new card?

Theres no limit, you can have as many as you want. But ebay is going to be using paypal or a couple of other online payment companies. Get yourself a paypal debit card. A lot of sellers, me included, have started to only take paypal.

Paying $3 on a $20 gift card does not sound like a cheap way to do anything. Why not just use cash or a check on eBay? Better yet, use Paypal, and then you get some of their protections. Many businesses nowadays have rules regarding money "transfers". There really isn't any logical reason that someone would buy (and use) gift cards repeatedly. If you bought 100 of them and then gave them out as gifts, there would be no problem. If it's not legal, then they figure you're gaming them somehow and they'll live without your $3. If you must go this route, why not buy for more than $20?

Don't keep buying cards, take the 'used' ones back to the store and reload them. Add as much money as you can at a time because of the fees.
