Rent-a-Center Question....?

When you give back a laptop to rent-a-center and there is a password on it, how do they get onto the computer to get the password off there?

They usually do 1 of 2 two things, it depends if they want to be nosy and see what their customer was looking at on the Internet. If they want to be nosy, they will open up the PC in safe mode and change the password under user accounts to get into it or, they will just do a complete system restore and erase everything and just start fresh

Chances are if they are getting it back, they'll just erase everything by reinstalling windows or using a program to delete the username and everything associated with it
