Question

My attorney filed a lien with my approval at the time against my sons home how can I get this canceled?

My son and husband forged title of my home, showing my son as the owner, when I asked them about this, my son simply states he paid his dad all the money that was due! This is an out and out lie, however, I'm simply not strong enough to endure any more, my son refuses to let me see or talk to my grandchildren, I just want to forget this whole mess and remove the lien, but my attorney says no, not until her bill is paid in full! It has been court ordered that my husband pay the attorney, over 1 1/2 years and he has paid 0! I continue to pay small monthly payments to her but to no avail...Can I cancel the lien without my attorney? Please help!

NO. Your attorney has lien-ed the home for her legal fee`s regardless of what you tell her. She knows that you do not have the money. Only way to have her remove the lien is to pay her off. The other way is to call your title insurance company they have big pockets more than your son and husband. Fraud is Fraud.
