When dealing with credit card fraud...?
If charges made on a credit card were fraudulent, who loses the money, the credit card company or the merchant?

Typically the merchant where the fraudulent charges were made at. If your credit card company accepts your fraud claim, then the merchant is issued chargebacks for any fraudulent purchases.

the credit crd company. UNLESS the merchant was supposed to do certain processing that they agreed with the credit card company on and didnt do it.
