How much should i charge for babysitting?

I am going to babysit 2 girls (one is 7 years old and the other is 6) for the summer. I was asked to babysit them every monday, but i am not sure how much to charge for the day. I am 14, almost 15, and have also been babysitting them for the past school year 08/09. I have had some experience, but haven't had a steady client. I have also put and ad in the local paper to get another babysitting job, too which the price's for the job may be a little different. So, all in all, how much should i charge ?!

Usually i charge about $8 an hour for 2 kids, but it really depends on what you have to do. If you are cooking them dinner, doing laundry and dishes, etc, charge more. If the kids are asleep for most of the time you are there, charge less. Ask the parents at the start how much they are willing to pay - they might offer you more than you expect! If you want a steady client, you probably should do a little more than they expect the first time you go. Wash any dishes that are out, clean up, help the kids with homework. It's sure to gain you brownie points with the parents :) You could also do a first aid course or something similar so you can say that you have those qualifications.

I normally charge 12-15 dollars per day for the first child, and an extra 5-7 dollars for everyone after that.
