i have been contacted by a financial firm..HUNTLEY,MULLANEY,SPARGO AND SILLIVAN LLC..they want out of a 20 yr?
huntley,mullaney,spargo and sullivan llc have contacted me about my 20 year ground lease with a major chain...they want out of the lease..they offered me a very low price, and forgot to remember to add that the company had to deed over the lease interest to us...ive looked and cannot find any professional licenses for these people..i am informed and believe these are the same people who are involved in the STARBUCKS. lease scam...does anyone have any information on these people...???

First, use a search engine to find information about this company. Second, remember that you have no obligation to take their offer. You can counter with an offer of your own. Make sure that your offer will compensate you for your trouble. Also, be sure to make it high enough that you have some negotiating room, but not so high that they will reject it out of hand. Third, or actually, probably you need to do this second, if you are serious about relinquishing the lease, you need own lawyer (and probably your own accountant) to look over the deal, to make sure it's right for you.
