Question

I received a false bill,?

Before my insurance renewal came due I shoped around for a better rate. I found one half price. I went to my broker to terminate our agreement and he told me he would match the quote i had received. "The renewal will automatically happen and the paper work will be mailed to you he said" . When i got the renewal wasn't near our agreement. I went and canceled and received a 200$ cancellation fee. Why should I pay this fee ?? I approached him he attempted to play with words and kept trailing off subject???? The bill is now on third notice and ready to go off to the credit bureau, How do i deal with this? Is there a government service offered to deal with false bill claims ??? Hey there, I live in the States and never heard of a cancellation fee for insurance but Canada must be different. I would not pay it and would speak to his supervisor regarding his practices and broken agreement. Regardless if the results come out to be something you disagree with, then keep fighting and not pay it. That is just me. If it got to a point where they still would not waive it.. I would tell them to stick their bill up their azz and good luck with collecting it.
