Question

Parking space problem in housing societies in mumbai?

Hi, This might be a normal problem in most places. We have around 15 good parking space in our society compound & 2 not so good place in the backyard where there is a risk of some theft occuring. We have 15 vehicles currently & I have bought my new car (makes it the 16th vehicle). The society earlier designated the 15 members to park accordingly in the 15 parking areas. Note, no one has brought the parking areas from society & everyone pays a nominal 80Rs parking charge. Now my question is, can I ask the members to park the vehicles on first come first basis everyday in the 15 slots & the last one coming will have to go to the backyard? If I park my car in one of the 15 empty slot will it amount to breaking the rules? Thanks! K Is there anything the society can do if I park in one of the empty 15 good slots? Is there anything I can do legally? Please advise? Thanks

When no one has purchased the parking space and paying rent only, it should be on the first come first served basis only. only in the case of purchase of space, it is exclusively reserved. Legal aspects are to be verified with the bye-laws of the society only.
