If anyone is, please let me know too. I've done alot of research, and only goverment scheme I've come across are half buy half rent new builds, you can normally find them on rightmove.co.uk if there are any in your desired locations. Also no 100% mortgages anymore, so you'll need a deposit, good-luck getting one!

In Scotland just now there is the Lift (Low Cost Initiative for First Time Buyers) scheme where the government will pay anything upto 40% of the home for you but you dont have to pay rent or interest on the amount they own, you either have the choice to pay back their share when you have paid off your own or they take back the percentage from the sale price when you sell up.
