what is your opinion on franchises?
alot of my friends always talk about becoming rich by buying franchises in NJ. I personally feel with this economy being so screwed up right now, the franchises are all going down. what is your opinion on franchises? do u know of better ways to make real good money?

You can make a fortune whit a few franchises and lose a fortune with others.. We all know about McDonald's but unless you own 4 or 5 Baskin and Robbins you will just have a tax write off business. What do i mean? well a lot of professional people buy a business like a dairy queen and use it as a loss against their main income. so you really need to do a huge amt.of home work before i would ever suggest buying a low end franchise.Now as far as ways to make REAL good money,yeah,get a degree like a lawyer, a cpa,, a surgeon, and with a degree no one can take it away from you,it's your ticket to riches..
