Well first off, lets just ignore all that spam and junk people have submitted (they drive me nuts) and besides what legitimate loan company would use a free yahoo email. Lets get real here! First of all, if you are on SSDI and have your award papers showing your monthly income, you can go to any credit union (forget the major banks) and open an account with direct deposit. Then you can probably obtain a secured loan as they will take your monthly payment automatically from your direct deposit. I know of many vets who are on SSDI and have had no problems getting loans because their income is steady and also tax free and $1,500 is not that much either. Hope this helps answer your question.

Long term loan does not sound like a good option. I think you should explain your financial situation with the company (mechanic/shop/garage) where you plan to have the repairs completed and try to work out a monthly payment plan. Being on SSI, I do not believe a responsible lending institution is going to issue a loan. Good Luck to you.

You probably will not unless you have a banking institution you have been with for many many years and they might help. Plus the addition of perfect credit will be necessary.
