I have a question about making a site?
I want my own personal website. A free site will not give me my own domain. I am going to buy a domain name @ 6.99 a year. I can pay myself for the traffic, but having to pay 300 dollars in advance along with 30 dollars a month for the site is just to much. So I was wondering if there was a way I can get my domain and add the features myself without having to pay of anyway. If I buy a regular domain name, how can I convert it to ecommerce without paying the monthly price. [I find ecommerce a bit to pricey] if there was a way that I could add the "buy now" myself along with the "shopping cart" and the "Billing information" without paying anything.

Buy the domain, buy some cheap hosting (I recommend hostgator.com) and you can create your site for free using their free software. No need to pay 300 in advance and then 30 a month to maintain it.

My domain name and hosting was through www ... . They registered my domain name free with the cheap hosting plan I chose around $5 a month(I used a code to get a discount i think it still works it was: 25off ) They come with a website wizard and templates to help you get your website up and running the easy way. This includes software callled Fantastico which includes numerous e-commerce solutions all including in the hosting plans. Hope this helps!
