How can i rent an apartment in a new area if i dont have a job in that area?
We want to move to san diego but we live about 8 hours away. how would we move there without a job? also, i do plan on getting a job there so is it possible to land a job before we move there. what about interviews and all that?

No decent landlord will rent to you without proof of stable employment. Maybe you can get a co-signer.

this was kinda expesive, but when i moved far away i just packed up my stuff and stored it at my dads house. than i got an hotel and stayed there while i found a job. then i looked at apts and was able to show proof of income.another friend and her husband had kids. she stayed behind while he went to find a job. most landlords would never rent a place when somebody has no prrof of income.
