Question
Unsubsidized Stafford Loan?
I've paid for college on my own for the past 3 years. I've come up short for my final year in undergrad and because I'm still considered dependent, I was offered an unsubsidized stafford loan. My parents will not help me in any way, but the job that I have won't cover the money that I need. Do my parents have to have any part of the federal loan? Do they even have to know about it? I've paid for EVERYTHING on my own for the past 4 years and I just don't want them involved if they would help anyways. Any advice?

If you are 21, probably doesn't matter anyway. The financial aid office will be able to answer al your questions.
