Is there any way to transfer money from Indian bank/credit card to an foreign bank.Or only purchases allowed?

I am trying to participate in an online gambling site like canbet.com. They require money to be deposited at their account. I tried it through credit card but I got a declined transaction. I tried it through a third party like moneybookers.com but again an international money transfer from bank to bank is not allowed. How can this problem be circumvented.

A credit card may have restrictions over overseas use. Also many receiver decline to accept a foreign credit card. Bank transfers from India to an overseas bank are allowed by the RBI. The limit for such transfers is $100,000 per calendar year. Many major Indian banks allow such transfers. You will however need the SWIFT code of the receiving bank, the branch address and the account number of the receiving party. Take a look at the transfer charges of banks in India.

Call up and check with them. Or you may try this link www ... , It’s for Citibank. I heard that money transfer through Citibank is easier and safer. Hope it helps.
