The garbage department of our city is on strike and i am evicting tenant?

i live in city Windsor and the garbage department of our city is on strike and i am evicting tenant but can they legally leave behind the 30 bags of garbage or should they have to get it removed by private garbage company.

Sorry, but this is on you. When push comes to shove garbage is the landlords problem.

I would think that you would have to have a private garbage company come in to pick up that much garbage no matter if the city garbage collectors were on strike or not depending on terms on their service. If the city garbage service does not have any provisions that would prevent you from leaving that much garbage at the curb, you would not have any legal recourse to collect damages caused to you by having a private waste collector pick up the garbage. I would not think that the city garbage service has a legal obligation to pick up garbage during a strike. I think the most that you would be entitled to is that you would not have to pay for garbage service that was not provided by the city.

If the city normally takes their garbage, then they can leave it behind.
