Question
Online Business Help?
I am trying to start an online business and am having issues trying to figure out the legal aspects of it. With the IRS I understand the income tax and the self employment tax but the estimation taxes makes no sense to me since I have no idea what I would be making this year since I have never ran a business before. Also, I am a bit confused because I can find no direct information about the laws on online business instead I am trying to base everything off of small business law. I would be extremely grateful if anyone could point me in the direction of any information about federal or state (pennsylvania) law regarding online business.

Each state has different laws so definitely check your state's website for more details. ( www ... and www ... The type of business you operate will determine your course of action in regards to taxes. Will you be accepting payments online nationally or just locally? In regards to your business taxes you usually need to file every quarter in order to comply, so make certain to save a percentage of your revenue.
