no bank will give you a loan now, freeze all your cards in the freezer in a block of ice and start paying them down

Yeah, don't get a loan to pay a loan. Contact school and they will defer. Go with school first because they deal with broke people all the time. Then focus on paying each one down at a time, if possible. If not, pay minimum on all except one, pay more. When that's paid off, you take that payment money and apply it to your next plus the minimum you were paying and so forth. Contact the card companies and tell them what is happening and you're trying. Give them a plan with a timeline and stick to it. Don't give them a plan you can't hold to. Get a full time job. Whatever it takes, get a full time job. Do extra work. Earn money every chance you get. If you have a skill, regardless of how retarded it may be, try to make it employable, put an ad on Craigslist, tell your family and family's neighbors you'll work for money. Today is the day you change your lifestyle to stop getting in debt or you'll be forty and doing the same shit. Literally, change your lifestyle or it will never end and that is what your creditors want from you. It is a form of voluntary slavery that you entered because look how much time, energy, and worry you consume on it, sounds like slavery with privileges to me.

Maybe take out a student loan with Citibank or something where your payments will be deferred until you are done with your classes.

Immediately call the credit card companies and explain your situation. They will work with you on a payment plan that you can afford. Do NOT ignore this problem!!!

well I would see if your parents could help you out because you dont need to get into any more debt until you have paid your current debt.

Stop using the credit cards and limit what you are spending so that you can pay off the debt. And don't take out a loan to pay a loan, you'll just be digging yourself into a hole.

In these tough times, it is highly unlikely that anyone will give you a bill consolidation loan with such a low credit score. The only places that might, will give you such a terrible APR that you'll end up paying double what you already owe.

Take a deep breath and ask how you intend to repay a loan that you take out to repay a loan. That $2,000 is going to be $2,000 regardless of who you owe so what you need is not a loan but a plan for repayment to what you already owe. Your loan will be based on working part-time... it's no wonder your credit score is low. Consider increasing income and/or reducing expenses. If you don't work on your situation that $2,000 will become $3,000 and then $4,000 before you know it. Stop the insanity!!! It's time for a plan of action ... sell things you no longer need, wash windows part time, tutor younger kids with homework, stay out of McDonalds, and/or whatever you can do. If you are in over your head with $2,000 in debt you are saving yourself in time from bigger headaches. Be determined to do whatever it takes to get out of debt... not to add to it.

That's a tough one. I wouldn't think that a bank would give such a small loan, or a debt consolidation loan at all. You are basically telling them you want a loan because you cant afford, or manage the credit you already have. I think your best bet is to ride it out and pay what you can when you can trying your best to stay on time. Cut up the cards? Ask family for a loan? American General is a place that will loan just about anyone money and $2000 is about their minimum loan. If you have a job and dont mind the 30% interest you could go that way.

You would do better to get some credit counseling. Contact the local chapter of CCCS in your area. It is free, they will work out a budget for you, talk to your creditors and get your bills paid off. Borrowing more money to get out of debt isn't the way to go. And, with a credit score of 575, no one is going to give you a credit card to transfer the balances or a personal loan to consolidate.
