Question

Should i put prices in my website?

Hello everybody, I am a travel agent and I am building the website for my company and i am going to rent yachts and villas in Greece, now i don't know if it's a good idea to have the price visible to a visitor in my website for example how much a specific villa cost per week, because in that case if he is not happy with the price it's very easy to move to the next website, but if he sends me an email requesting the price, and most likely this means that from the info and photos he already likes the villa and he is wondering about the price, therefore if he sends me a request i will have a chance to interact better with him and see what he is looking for exactly and I will adjust my approach and sales technique accordingly, i would really appreciate your perspective on the above as a user and if you were ''him'' what would you probably do?? Thank you in advance! Thanks guys, first of all i am a certified travel agent in Greece and i am not aiming to get clients from the internet alone, but to promote my business and show the world what i have to offer, anyways thank u for your input!

If you did not publish your prices I personally would move on to the next website anyway. Frankly I would never do that kind of business on the internet to begin with because those big glossies are RARELY an accurate depiction of what I would be getting. Just food for thought.

I would put the prices in, definitely. Anytime people advertise products or services without prices, people think they are high, so they are afraid to advertise them. In which case, they would go to the next website anyway. I've never been quoted a reasonable price on anything that I've called about (car, house, other goods) where the price wasn't advertised. So I never bother with anything that doesn't list the price

I leave websites that don't post prices almost immediately. You could put something on there like "Call about our specials which change seasonally" or something to entice people to call you if there is room for negotiation on the prices.
