How can I promote my business with little to no funding?
I have my home business that I sell multicultural toys for children. I offer parents a 5% discount each time they make a purchase, plus if they join the mailing list they get emails of 12 hour sales, 24 hour sales. I have launched a few of my own created contests and out of 100 people only 8 people responded. I created a facebook group to which 100 people joined but no one has made any purchases. I am getting frustrated. Because we are an online store (www.DollsLikeMe.com). I am getting frustrated. I advertised on Craigslist/Kijiji. I posted on Twitter/Myspace. What am I doing wrong? I was told to make a video on Youtube and that would help to promote traffic to the website much less sales. What can I do?
