Question
How do i address a mold apartment situation at my apartment?
I have already reported this situation to the Apartment Complex Management. They showed up and just left a msg and said that they didn't find anything. Doesn't a mold test take several days to test? & According to the EPA not all mold is visible. We feel as if we are being dismissed by the Management, what do we do now? The apartment smells really bad but, nothing is visible. We know that it could be in the ducts or walls.

Well First thing is I would put everything in a letter to the Management (keep a copy), varying by state, they usually have about a week to respond. Explain that although they already came in, that the smell is still there, and you feel that a PROFESSIONAL needs to come in and fully inspect and test your apartment. As mold affects your health. If after 7 days you feel they haven't complied in a satisfactory way, I would call the local health department. Also mention in your letter that you will contact them if you feel it's needed. When it comes to anything having to do with renting/landlords/management ALWAYS put stuff on paper!
