What is the best website that helps monitor your credit history and can help you dispute a claim?
I just checked my credit report not too long ago and I saw something on there that is wrong. I would like to sign up for a credit monitoring service that can help me get rid of the inaccurate claims on my record. Does anyone know what website would be best to sign up with? I'm trying to monitor all three credit bureaus through one online company, I also wanted to know why you support the specific company you are listing. thanks for your help

creditreport.undonet.com - try this site. I use it to monitor my credit and also cleaned off some bad items from my credit report. You can apply for free initial plan and get your scores and reports for free.

When you aim for credit monitoring, you want to go through the actual credit bureaus. The reason for this is that sites that offer third party free credit reports and then subsequent monitoring for a fee, are not giving you access to what is really on your report. Many times items are missing or appear inaccurate when the formal credit report is actually very different. Plus, unless you have your formal credit report you do not get your actual score, merely an "estimate" Always, always, always use the CRAs to monitor your reports. Their information is going to be more thorough and accurate for the same price (sometimes less) than third party monitors. Don't ever dispute online unless its something simple like a name or address change. For negative account disputes you really need to do an internet search before you start to find out the best and most sucessful methods. It's not a simple process, but rewarding in the end if you do it right.
