start up online streaming website?
I am doing a school project on online streaming industry. I am looking for information on barrier to entry. Does anyone know how expensive it is to have a website like that? I just can't decide. Have a website is not expensive, but having a good website with legal rights to stream copyrighted materials should be expensive, right?

Pretty much impossible to do in the United States due to various legal/copyright reasons, as well as the rights and technology to do it really isn't attainable unless you're a corporation that has some correlation to whatever you're trying to stream. Example - Def Jam Records streams some of their songs online. They also own the rights to those songs. XM Radio is a rare exception.
