Gated Communities, California Realtors please answer!!!!?
There has to be gated communities in the area's of: los angeles, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades, Redondo Beach, Manhatta Beach, and Pasadana However I can't find any. Does anyone know the names of some. We're looking to move back to CA. Thank you. well I didn't know that about Pasadana and the other slums. Thank you for letting me know. No I'm not looking for the Ghetto's. I'm not from that part of CA so I wouldnt know. But now I do, thank you :)

Probably not in LA proper, it is all a ghetto, and likely not Pasadena, as it is very low income. But the others, yes, it is very common. An agent can pull you up a listing from the MLS of all available properties in gated communities that meet your other standards. Some of these areas are very high though, I am unclear why you are asking about slums and luxury cities at the same time.

Your best bet would be to narrow down the neighborhood you are interested in and then contact a local Realtor that services that area. He/she will be familiar with what gated communities are out there and after hearing about your criteria (size, # of bedrooms, price range, etc.) will be able to send you some listings and focus your home search.
