I have received a similar e-mail before and I replied to it. The respondent asked me for a lot of details when he replied to me and he wanted me to go to America but it turned out to be a scam. I think this e-mail could possibly also be a scam so I would advice you to be very carefully.

They are all scams, but what makes this one interesting is the fact the plane crash was 3 years earlier.

I get these regularly - most definatley a scam. NEVER give your full name, address or anything banking! sadly its a reaccuring scam which you will no doubt receive a lot. they are being sneaky these days - we received one in telephone form recently!

ya think?!? this email is a one way ticket to identity theft. the scam works on playing the percentages. lets say that they send out this email to 10 million people (with a bulk email program, it's as easy as a couple of clicks). if even .5 percent of people fall for it, that's still 50k people that could have their identity stolen from this info. if it seems too good to be true, it usually is.

And that crash was in July 2000, and none of the victims was from Africa. So why do you think they are contacting you - and even how would they have your email address? Scam. You really knew anyway. Don't fall for it.
