Need help with a marketing plan!?

If you were to have to create a marketing plan for a country club in the midwest what kind of marketing tactics would you use? Promotions Sales Events Any ideas on anything you could do to help a country club get more members and grow in size score points! Also anything you have noticed that works particularly well in country clubs is welcome!

You seem to be confusing 'marketing' and 'promotion'. You do need a marketing plan but your question suggests you are thinking only of promotions. You need to understand the market first, then identify a target market, design a positioning strategy etc before being able to plan effective promotions. Markting plans are described in most marketing books and also heaps on the web. Try reputable sites like the AMA (MarketingPower) or CIM.
