Realtor is bad but feel guilty...suggestions?

My husband & I are 1st time home buyers. We have a unique situation where I'm pregnant & due in June so we need to find a house b4 then. Finding a house b4 then is a MUST due to my maternity leave/going back part time & not being able to qualify for a loan that's worth anything after that (hubby's graduating school at that time so the loan is all on me due to his work not being considered "stable" even though he works 50 hours a week but his job still calls him "per diem"). Anyway, we made our realtor aware of this. She said no problem, she'd get us a house by that time & had me sign the paperwork. Well, quite frankly she sucks. She has computer generated emails sent to me w/ houses in our price range in the communities I want. That's fine but considering they come a few days after the houses are listed & I already know about them, it's kind of a waste. I find houses & email her (she has never called me about any), then she takes days to get back to me. Plus we are only doing an FHA loan & she keeps sending me sellers that don't take the FHA. Obviously she's not doing any research herself. Granted the market isn't great in my area. Plus not many sellers are willing to take the FHA but she's not even looking! I find everything b4 her. We looked at 1 house since early March & she went through w/ us pointing out how much she hated it. Didn't even let us have a chance to decide. My husband works 2nd shift & I work 1st shift so the days/times we can view properties are very limited (another thing she knew). This week he was on 1st shift & we could see them all week long & he finally had this weekend off so we could've gone all day today & tomorrow. There are 3 house we requested to see & it took 3 days for her to respond to my emails. She told me her mother took ill & is not expected to make it. She would set up times for us to see the houses & if she couldn't do it b/c of her mother, she would have another realtor show us. That was fine w/ us but we haven't heard nothing since. I feel horrible for being so angry due to her mother's illness but this was the week to get stuff done. He NEVER works 1st shift & we didn't see anything. Oh correction, even though I am bound by contract not to do so (my husband isn't, he never signed), we looked at a for sale by owner today. We liked it & are considering it. The seller said using a realtor was fine but to be honest whatever he paid her was $ he'd take away from paying towards our closing or downpayment or whatever. Grrrr.....so this realtor who hasn't helped me w/ ANYTHING, who didn't even show me this house & isn't doing anything is going to end up costing me thousands in seller assistance. The contract says any house purchased during our 6th months contract she gets her cut of but she isn't doing anything! Does anybody have any suggestions??? I hate to request another realtor when her mother is sick but I also feel that company should have notified her buyers & assigned other realtors to them for the time being. Also I wasn't impressed by her services b4. It just seems so cold hearted of me but it is seriously now or never (or at least not a long time) for us.
