Question
Is my non-compete contract enforceable?
I signed a non-compete contract with a company about 4 yrs ago. They have changed names since that contract, but a new contract was never made under the new name.In addition I have never been paid directly by them (under either name) for any work I have done. I get paid by another company that isn't even licensed and I do not have any kind of contract with that company. Does the contract have any legal standing? There are no trade secrets..as a matter of fact the business that I signed a non-compete with doesn't even know who to create the product that I make. I receive a 1099 from the second business, not from the company that I have the non-compete with. All business comes to me from the second business.

Very questionable. Depending on what state you are in the laws vary. But most state consider non-compete clauses worthless. They understand, rightfully, that people have a right to make a living. As long as you don't have, and share, proprietary information, you should have no concerns.
