Government Grants & Small Business Loans - Is there a difference between a Grant and a Loan?

Sure is. The SBA gives loans which have to be returned while grant money does not have to be returned. Obviously, a grant is more advantageous for a small business but you need a valid business plan in place to be considered for one. A loan is more to meet short-term needs given the current state of the economy.
