Mom has mold issues in apt and mgnt are slumlords?
Mom has lived in same community for 18 yrs and never had a paint job. I mean, she even has the original carpet too. She has mold issues from the leaky roof and water damage. They came out to fix the water damage, which has been there for the past year, and painted the ceiling. They are only masking the true issue, which has yet to be resolved. They refuse to paint the whole bedrooms. They said the residents can do it themselves or wait until the end of spring for the painter because he is so busy. Your thoughts on Windsor Management?

Hi d, Mold inbetween walls and in crawl spaces is 100% toxic and your mother is in serious risk. have your mother document her health concerns with the management company and get help from a local lawyer as soon as possible. Once your mother is sick there is no amount of money that can make her well again.

if she still has the mold problem, have her write a letter to the property manager. in the letter state what the problems are and what has / has not been done to repair the situation. tell them that if they don't provide proper repairs with in 30 days, she will with hold the next months rent by placing it into a separate account and she will notify the health department. tell her to keep copies of all letters.
