Help advertising on yellow pages?
Hi, I run a small business in Texas and I need help advertising on yellow pages and other web directories. I recently used to run another biz in Cleveland and I always used to receive calls from marketers (usually in India) telling me about a service that can list my info on ALL directories for a small monthly service. If anybody can help me with this kind of serrvice, I would be grateful.

Well the glaring problem with using directories is that your success is entirely dependent on the customer to make the first move. Your ad just sits there waiting to be seen. Not only that...it is among all your competition. So..the few people do go looking for your service...your going to lose a percentage of them to your competition. Direct Mail is a way to get your message right in front of your prospect, and should be used to support your other marketing efforts.
