What is a good way to show appreciation for Realtor who did not make a lot of money off the sale of our house?
Our Realtor has worked very hard to get our house sold. But, because of the weak market we had to sell well below market value, and she is not going to make a lot of money off the sale. I am trying to think of a creative way to thank her for her efforts. Unfortunately, we do not have a lot of money to spend. Any ideas?

The realtor learned something in the process. Often a realtor works hard for someone and makes zero, but has to do a bunch of these for the occasional big payout. The way to show apperciation for this realtor is to recommend her to others, and when you want to buy another house, contact her first. If she has a web page that allows visitor comments, add one expressing your gratitude.

give her no cash, but instead, help her market herself; that is the best thing you can do; tell 10 different people a week for a year how great she was.

Realtors are really hurting right now. Suggest a restaurant giftcard would be well-received, other type of giftcard, in a Thank You card with your sincere thanks.
