First you have to consider your rent which will vary area to area and depends on the square footage. Then-you need to consider the cost of furnishing the space by buying or leasing what you need, then you need insurance. The hot-spot system can be done for under 2 grand. This will get you in the door--and doesn't include your monthly expenses. Check craigslist.org or your local paper to see what the rents are. I rent a 700 sq ft.space here in Nj for $1000 a month to a guy that runs one, I asked for 3 months security which is standard for a Commercial Lease. OH----you will need to legally register your business to separate it from your personal assets in case of a Lawsuit. Here in NJ they charge $100 bucks to file that.
