Question

What is the best computer to use for a home business?

I am starting a home based business. Is it better to go with a notebook or desktop computer? What business software, if any, would be recommended? Thanks

~~Either will do you well. I like laptops for portability, but we also have a shared desktop which comes in handy too. For stability and reliability, I suggest either a Dell (my absolute favorite) or an Apple. For business software we have always used Quickbooks. Very user friendly and they have a software program to fill every type of business need. Very easy to look and compare at www.quickbooks.com Best of luck with everything!~~

Desktop. This is a great way to make money from home: billmoneyfromhome ... Basically what you do is take 2-5 minute surveys and offers. Totally free no credit card needed, no social security, no personal information. There are members that make anywhere from $20 a month to $2000. I've been paid seven times already. Check is guaranteed to come every month.

I've never used business software because I do affiliate marketing, and you can get a lot of your tools online. So It depends on what home business you're planning on doing. If you're doing some freelance writing, then you might want to consider quicken for account spreadsheets and invoicing. I use a MacBook Air, and it was just fine for a lot of the things I was doing online. However, a lot of third-party internet marketing software only work on a PC, like keyword tools. It's kind of unfair in away. But there are a lot of free tools you can use that would help you do the job. So at the end of the day, it doesn't really matter.

I agree with Debijs. Get a laptop and make sure it is a Dell. Dell has some great sales on laptops. This way no matter where you go you are connected. Get a Verizon or ATT "aircard" and stay connected wherever you go.
