I am looking to start a foundation and I was wondering if anyone knew where I can start. ?

The foundation is called "There is Hope". In April 2006 my husband had become disabled with many health problems. He was such a hard working man who could not work anymore. We filed for SSI Disability and still today 12/9/2008 we are still awaiting an approval hearing. During this time, he has not been able to work and it has been a horrible hardship on the family. I have a 3 year old and a newborn and we are 4 months behind on rent and can barely afford food anymore. I know we will get approved, but there must me other families out there waiting and suffering as well. The foundation that I want to start will help people during this time. Maybe to start we can provide formula, diapers, Christmas presents, or even help with some bills. I never thought I would be in this place, but now that I am, I just want to help others. If anyone knows what I can do to start this, I and many others will be so grateful.
